1.  At what age is my child eligible to play in the Mason County Soccer League?

The child must have been born in the year of 2014 or before.

2.  What does my child need in order to play?

All players are required to wear shin pads during all games and practices.    Every player will need knee high athletic socks worn over the shin pads.   All players should bring water to practices and games.  MCSL highly recommends soccer cleats and an appropriate size soccer ball (U-6 & 8  size 3; U-10 & 12 size 4; U-14 and above size 5).

3.  Can we request a coach or to be with another child?

You may request but requests may not be honored. The reason is, MCSL conducts a blind draft before the season begins in order to create the teams.  We do try to honor carpooling requests if we can, as long as they appear to be legit.  Coach’s and Asst. Coach’s children will be on the same team, as well as siblings/family.

4.  How long is the season?

We schedule between 8 and 10 games.  There will be three to four weeks of practice before the season starts (depending on weather and coaches).

Fall Season: Begins mid August - End of October

Spring Season: Begins in March - End of May

5.  Can Ohio residents play in the Mason County Soccer League?

Yes, Ohio residents may play in the MCSL.  However, there is an additional $4.00 charge due to the insurance coverage.
